There is no other place in Malaysia as green and as lush as Fraser’s Hill. Here, the heavy jungle foliage covers hill upon rolling hill, stretching far into the distant horizon to complete a magnificent vista. But Fraser’s Hill has more to offer than just lush green forests. Herewith, our selection of the best things to do in Fraser’s Hill. This post will be updated from time to time to include more information. Please watch this space!
One cannot come to Fraser’s and not be awed by the lush virgin forest surrounding us. Take a walk down one of the 8 well-maintained trails. The Hemmant Trail for instance is a short 20 ~ 30 minutes trail suitable for young children. Pine Tree Hill Trail is by far the most challenging trail and only for hiking enthusiasts. More information is available at the Tourist Information Counter in Fraser’s Hill.

For those who rather stick to paved roads, do a walkabout in Fraser’s Hill. It takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to go a full circle along the meandering paths in Fraser’s Hill. And what a picturesque walk it is with lots of Instagram-worthy photo spots.
Ah…, Fraser’s Hill is on every major birdwatcher’s bucket list. So don’t miss out! A guest / birdwatching enthusiast once told us that he spotted over 10 species of birds before breakfast from Colonie’s balcony.
Allan’s Water is a crowd pleaser. There’s a Mini Boating Lake where you can also feed fishes and for the more adventurous, Flying Fox across the lake and Paintball! You might have to book ahead for some of the activities so head there early to check it out.

Next to Allan’s water is a small farm where you can get fresh vegetables (and sometimes fruits). Farms are magical places for little hands & eyes, especially those from in city centres!
We love this place! Its well-maintained and the horse-riding a highlight. The horses are well taken care of and just magnificent up close, especially a black, majestic horse we have aptly named Black Beauty. His glossy mane was gorgeous and envy-inducing. Must be all that fresh air and spring water.

Experience Fraser’s Hill intimately by renting a bike for one or two. On a bicycle, you can explore the many hidden paths branching off the wider paved roads. And literally smell how fresh the air is and hear the wind whistling through the trees.

The Glasshouse opened in 2018. This lovely whitewashed building houses some of the loveliest succulents for sale. They also serve coffee and cakes. Have a cuppa in the afternoon & enjoy the cool breeze beneath the canopy of ageless tress that surround this place.

On the way up Fraser’s Hill from Kuala Kubu Bahru, you will pass by Chiling Waterfalls. It’s a waterfall hotspot so get there early. It is rather beautiful. Jeriau Waterfalls is in Fraser’s itself. Its a lovely place to have a picnic but water is definitely colder and clearer. So might not be suitable for little children. Do check with the Tourist Information Centre before going as the waterfalls are closed periodically especially during rainy season.

On the way up Fraser’s Hill from Kuala Kubu Bahru, you will also pass by Kampung Pertak. I have read some blogs that says there is another waterfall inside but its quite a hike. This is a camping / hiking hotspot as well.
