#Glasshouse

This 2-year old little café serves pretty good cakes and coffee on weekends and public holidays. Enjoy your cup of coffee while looking at pretty succulents here! They house a variety of cacti for sale too, so definitely check them out!

SUCCULENTS AND COFFEE AT GLASSHOUSE

#Shahzan Inn

Asian as well as Western cuisine are served here for lunches and dinners. We heard that the steamboat or teppanyaki set lunch is pretty good! The Asian Food Menu has very good reviews. Personally, we love the scones here at Shahzan Inn.

#Kheng Yuan Lee Kopitiam

They are a classic Hainanese kopitiam that certainly brings back nostalgic memories. Enjoy your typical Malaysian breakfast here, alongside a variety of Chinese dishes. The chicken chops here are delicious!

Unfortunately, Kheng Yuan Lee Kopitiam is no longer operating.

#The Smokehouse

Another lovely spot for afternoon tea or your regular meals. Afternoon teas and scones are popular here! Come to The Smokehouse to have a dining experience as if you’re in an English countryside.

#Kedai Hamzah

Located just behind the Mosque, their Nasi Lemak breakfast (especially the ikan bilis sambal) & roti canai is exceptionally yummy according to us. Make sure to get there before 8:30 am before it sells out! Remember, the early bird gets the worm! They also serve an early lunch.

NASI LEMAK AT KEDAI HAMZAH

#Gerai Kak Tina

About 3 minutes drive away from Colonie, you can find yummy fried snacks at Kak Tina’s. From savoury keropok lekor to sweet pisang goreng, they have the perfect tea time snack for you Malaysian taste buds. Preorder for Nasi Lemak and Bihun Goreng are available here too!
