What is Fraser Hill known for?

Unlike the bright lights of Genting or the tea estates of Cameron Highlands, Fraser’s Hill is a proper nature reserve. People often ask if it is chillier here, but the real draw is the incredible senyap (silence). While both enjoy a cool climate, this place offers a level of tenang (calm) that you simply won’t find elsewhere. 

In contrast to Genting Highlands, there are no big shopping centers in Fraser Hill, and it is purposely made like this to preserve the forest. It is perfect for those who love bird watching and trekking because of its “slow life” philosophy. “Emptiness,” which you can see on Tuesdays, is not an indication that it is a ghost town but rather its uniqueness as a protected highland.
